Argonne National Lab has some great researchers. Maybe in 12 years these lithium-air batteries will be available commercially. They promise 5x the energy density of lithium-ion batteries! So hypothetically, we could achieve a range of 70 miles in the Cayenne with these!

I also studied this lithium chemistry as well. When it happens it will change electric cars forever since range could increase to 400-600 miles making electric cars useful for travel.
