I am thinking about buying 2017 Cayenne hybrid. My sales person said it qualified for federal tax credit in 2016 but in 2017, but only all electric cars qualify for t ax credit this year. But he isn't 100% sure. does anybody has more info about this? I searched online, it seems to indicate hybrid would qualify, just not the full amount.

Just got my new Cayenne S E-Hybrid. I am pretty sure it is qualified for federal electric car tax credit. The purchase just need to be on a brand new car, not used car. My tax credit full amount is roughly $5000.
